PHOENIX — Nook Kitchen’s Arcadia location reopened this week after it outgrew its building and moved down the street.

The American-Italian restaurant opened Tuesday in a space at Indian School Road and 42nd Street, formerly a bar called High Dive.

Nook moved out of its location at Indian School and 36th Street in August and originally expected to reopen in late October or early November.

The kitchen offers handmade pastas, pizzas and salads, as well as entrees including everything-bagel-seasoned salmon and espresso-rubbed prime filet.

The restaurant also has a downtown Phoenix location at the Hilton Garden Inn on Central Avenue and Monroe Street.

The brand gained fame earlier this year when its co-owner Chef Nick LaRosa won an episode of Food Network’s TV show “Chopped.”

LaRosa also co-owns Dilly Dally and The Bar Phoenix.
