PHOENIX — A highly anticipated athletic club with studios for group fitness, cycling, yoga and more is opening at the PV mixed-use development in Phoenix on Thursday.
The Life Time Paradise Valley club will span 92,000 square feet, according to RED Development, the company behind PV, a large mixed‑use destination near Paradise Valley Parkway and Tatum Boulevard.
The PV development covers more than 100 acres and includes dining, entertainment, retail, residential, wellness and office spaces, along with a community park designed for events.
The 92,000-square-foot Life Time Paradise Valley also has a fitness floor and amenities for members like:
- Outdoor pickleball courts
- Kids Academy
- LifeCafe
- LifeSpa
It’s going to be a premier destination for health and wellness, according to Ryan Calrow, Life Time’s senior area director.
“We’ve been thoughtful about creating a destination that complements the character and vision of PV while bringing something entirely new to the community,” Calrow said in a press release. “Life Time Paradise Valley is an integrated health, wellness and hospitality experience designed to serve residents and families for generations.”
It’s designed to help individuals and families be healthier, according to RED Development. The fitness floor will feature cardio, strength training and personalized coaching.
Life Time Paradise Valley connected to housing development
The massive athletic club is connected to the Life Time Living high‑rise residences, which are under construction and expected to open in 2027.
The residential tower is planned to rise 11 stories and include 327 units, offering one‑ and two‑bedroom layouts as well as penthouse residences. A pedestrian bridge will link the apartments directly to the athletic club, giving residents easy access between the two.
Together, the complex and the club will also feature nearly 1.5 acres of rooftop amenity space, including a resort‑style beach area available to both residents and members.
“Alongside the forthcoming Life Time Living, our new Paradise Valley athletic country club reflects our long-term investment in the area and our commitment to enhancing how people come together, stay active and live well in one of the most distinctive communities in the country,” Calrow said.
