Lam Research buys $45.8M office building near TSMC’s Phoenix campus

Lam Research Corporation, which supplies wafer fabrication equipment to chipmakers like TSMC, bought a 147,638 square-foot office building in north Phoenix on Dec. 23, according to real estate database Vizzda LLC.
It acquired the property from Phoenix-based JDM Partners — a real estate firm co-founded by Jerry Colangelo, who now serves as chairman — for $45,770,000. JDM purchased it in 2018 for $48 million, Maricopa County records show.
The three-story office building, located at 25700 N. Norterra Pkwy., was built in 2016 and sits on 12.33 acres. It’s right off Interstate 17 and just a short drive from TSMC’s campus.
