Home Depot Inc. (NYSE: HD) is preparing to unveil its newest Arizona store this spring.
The home improvement retailer plans to open a 109,651-square-foot warehouse with an attached garden center in April in the city of Surprise.
Its new store is being constructed along the Loop 303 at 16601 Cactus Road in the burgeoning Prasada area. Home Depot acquired the 18 acres for its store last year for $8.4 million. The store is located next to the 208,256-square-foot Sycamore Farms project that will be anchored by a Fry’s and EoS Fitness.
The new location is one of 13 that Home Depot plans to open this year, according to the company’s earnings call on Feb. 25.
