As residential construction continues inside of Hawes Crossing, a 11.6-acre mixed-use project is taking shape at the center of the 1,100-acre Mesa master planned community.

The yet-to-be-named mixed-use center at Hawes Crossing is being developed by Las Vegas-based commercial real estate firm Fore Property Company, featuring more than 200 multifamily apartment units and 20,000 square feet of retail space.

Jeff Kern, a partner and the Arizona Development Director at Fore Property Co., told the Business Journal that the Mesa mixed-use center is “permit ready” and the firm is “lining up financing” to begin construction in the first quarter of 2026.
