Construction begins on Glendale industrial complex partially preleased to PODS Phoenix

PHOENIX — Construction began on a Glendale industrial complex Tuesday that is already partially preleased to PODS Phoenix.

The project is called Harbor Park and is being built as part of a partnership between Phoenix real estate developer Creation and QuarterMoore.

PODS Phoenix, a franchise division of PODS Moving & Storage, already preleased 67% of the industrial complex.

“Harbor Park provides PODS a prime location, increased capacity and positions us to better serve our customers throughout the Valley,” QuarterMoore and PODS Phoenix Managing Partner Lane Moore said in a press release. “We are excited to grow our long-standing presence in the greater Phoenix area, which began over twenty years ago.”

Harbor Park, located on Glen Harbor Boulevard, will total approximately 163,364 square feet and feature two single-story industrial buildings.

The first building is being built-to-suit for PODS Phoenix. Meanwhile, the second unleased building will be 54,499 square feet and features 24-foot high ceilings, 25 dock-high doors, four grade-level doors and 106 parking spaces.

LGE Design Build will be in charge of construction and design for the project.

As part of ground being broken on the industrial complex, Creation donated $10,000 to Billy’s Place — a nonprofit located in the West Valley that provides company and companionship for kids and families going through grief.

“As one of the nation’s most resilient and in-demand industrial submarkets, the Southwest Valley is exactly where we want to deliver new shallow bay industrial inventory, and Harbor Park is a key part of that vision,” Creation’s principal of the Mountain West Region Grant Kingdon said. 

The industrial complex is expected to be complete by summer 2026.
