Dick’s House of Sport will be nearly 119,400-square-feet and offer a variety of sports related gear. The new concept store will also feature a rock-climbing area, golf simulation bays, multi-sport cages and an outdoor field for open play, clinics and sports leagues.

The 30-acre development project is Phase I of a larger project and will contain a total of 300,000-square-feet of retail, grocery, restaurant and entertainment space. The center will be called Signature at SanTan Village and is being built in partnership with state landowners and the SanTan Development Group.

Illinois-based Kensington Development Partners and IM Properties will take on Phase I of the project. A future Phase II at Signature at SanTan Village will add another 115,000-square-feet of retail and restaurant space.

Once Signature at SanTan Village is fully completed, it will sit at nearly 600-acres with 3 million-square-feet of retail, restaurants, entertainment, office, residential and hospitality space.

“This is the next exciting phase for land that has been in our family and business for decades. Watching it continue to evolve into a thriving retail and community destination is incredibly meaningful to us,” SanTan Development Group President Ty LeSueur said in a press release. “Signature at SanTan Village will be a place where our hometown community can come together to shop, dine and connect.”
