Filipino supermarket Seafood City hiring ahead of Chandler debut

Arizona's first Seafood City, a Filipino supermarket chain, is coming soon to Chandler and the location has started its hiring process.

Arizona’s first Seafood City, a Filipino supermarket chain, is coming soon to Chandler and the location has started its hiring process.

More than 100 jobs are expected to be filled at the store in Chandler Fashion Center, according to a Monday news release.

The 65,000-square-foot supermarket near Chandler Boulevard and Price Road offers health and beauty sections to go along with its Filipino-native groceries and food experiences. These include Bayanihan-preserved chickpeas and Cebuchon Lechon pork belly from its Grill City restaurant.

Other flavor destinations that guests can look forward to include:

  • Sizzle (hot foods, featuring a modern-style sisig dish)
  • Slurp Alley (noodle and hot pot dishes)
  • Crab Market
  • Crispy Town (Filipino comfort food)
  • Kakanin Corner (rice cakes and other desserts)

What Chandler Seafood City jobs are open?

Those interested in joining the Chandler Seafood City team can find part-time, full-time and management level positions online.

You can also meet the hiring team at Chandler Fashion Center’s food court from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
