As Davcon Aviation LLC builds out the final phase of its complex at Falcon Field in Mesa, president David Wakefield wants one thing to be clear: “We don’t need your companies, necessarily. We just want your planes.”
The yet-to-be finished final phase of the Davcon Aviation complex is expected to add 12 additional hangars totaling 170,000 square feet and office space. Falcon Field is located south of East McDowell Road and east of N Greenfield Road.
Each hangar has individual office space but what stands out to Wakefield the most in the yet-to-be built phase two campus are the corporate aviation hangars with one in particular he hopes will be home to a corporate helicopter manufacturing company, which covers two stories and has about 20,000 square feet of class A office space.
