Nicole Kidman awkwardly recounts quasi-date with Jimmy Fallon

Jimmy Fallon is a rockstar, rocking The Tonight Show since he took it over in 2013.

According to one of his guests on Tuesday’s show, however, he hasn’t always been so awesome.

In fact, he used to treat dates to nothing but Brie cheese with corn chips. And old Chinese food. At his messy apartment. Where he’d be wearing sweat pants. And a hat. And he’d try to get his female companions to play video games with him.

That’s at least the approach he took when he was randomly set up on a date with Nicole Kidman, who was interested in Fallon years ago, before she wed country artist Keith Urban.

The two recounted the time they hung out at Fallon’s flat back in the day on his show earlier this week, when the host found out for the first time that that hangout was actually what Kidman considered to be a date.
