Buffaloes shouldn’t be this… Adorable?

These girls, hysterical with laughter as they drive slowly by a herd of buffalo, get up close and personal with the beasts, offering them what appears to be slivers of sandwich bread. And they inexplicably receive quasi-kisses in return.

Shouldn’t they be territorial? Shouldn’t they be biting or nudging or at least grunting? How unsuspectingly tender.
