Anna Kendrick ‘almost’ stars in her very first Super Bowl commercial

Anna Kendrick is a big deal these days.

The Academy Award-nominated actress just finished filming an adaptation of Into the Woods.

Her rendition of “Cups” reached No. 6 on the United States’ Billboard Top 100 list in 2013 and earned her an appearance as a presenter at the Grammy Awards.

But her biggest honor may have come this week, when the 28-year-old was set to star in her very first Super Bowl commercial for Newcastle Ale.

Emphasis on the almost.

As seen in a very candid, behind-the-scenes interview, Kendrick’s TV ad debut was temporarily put on hold.

Let’s just say she didn’t take the news lightly.
