Study: Arizona is a pretty good place to find a job

PHOENIX — The new year is a time of change and transformation for a lot of people. For some, that means hitting the gym or searching for a new job.

While the former can be easy, the latter is daunting. After all, tracking down a new job is a tough thing to do.

Unless you’re in Arizona.

A WalletHub study said three Phoenix-area cities are among the best places to find a new gig in the nation — Gilbert (third), Chandler (sixth) and Scottsdale (ninth).

Other Arizona cities also made the list. Peoria was ranked 14th, Tempe 35th and Phoenix 71st.

Overall, the top place to find a new job was Seattle followed by Des Moines, Iowa.
