New year predictions for Phoenix restaurants and shops
What if Phoenix had its own New Year's resolutions?
What if Phoenix had its own New Year’s resolutions?
It’s that time of year when it seems like everyone is jumping on the “lose weight” and “spend less” bandwagon, and the Phoenix Business Journal just released its annual list of predictions of yearly trends. According to the list, Phoenicians will resolve to eat out at restaurants more, produce healthier fare and make purchases solely by phone. We’ll see next year if these prophesies come true.
Phoenicians will visit restaurants more
In 2015, Phoenix Business Journal believes more people will eat their meals at restaurants. With so many new eateries opening this year and lower overall costs in the state, it’s a no-brainer.
Gas prices are dropping and with the extra money consumers will have in their pockets, I think it will be going toward eating at restaurants.
Phoenicians will have healthier food choices
This goes along with the eating out for dinner prediction. More and more Valley restaurants focused on healthy eating are emerging, and the vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free restaurant scene will explode in 2015, says Phoenix Business Journal.
Phoenicians will use their cell phones to shop
Mobile shopping is predicted to become the norm in 2015. The Arizona Retailers Association told Phoenix Business Journal they want shoppers to have a seamless experience in the store and online.
If a retailer does not have an option to shop online easily with a mobile device, it will need one in 2015.
Apple Pay is also thought to be popular this coming year.
