PHOENIX — It doesn’t come out until next year, but people are itching to get their first look at “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.”
The first trailer will be released Friday, but it will only be shown in 30 theaters nationwide and just one place in Arizona: The Harkins Theater at Tempe Marketplace. It’s expected to be shown before every movie.
But don’t get too excited. The trailer is just an 88-second teaser meant to whet the audience’s appetites for more galactic adventure. The trailer is expected to be released to other theaters at a later date.
The seventh “Star Wars” film is scheduled to be released Dec. 18, 2015. It will be directed by J.J. Abrams.
