PHOENIX — Whether a transplant or a native, Arizona residents have seen the state grow immensely, and a census report shows just how much.
From 1970 to 2010, the population of the metro Phoenix area — and most of Arizona, in general — has increased by more than 130 percent, the Washington Post reported. As for the youth demographic — those aged 25 to 34 — the majority of Arizona has also seen a 130 percent increase.
