Raul Garcia with the Arizona Department of Public Safety said a car driven by a 33-year-old woman from Many Farms, Arizona ran into the back of the motorcycle and that she kept going afterward.

“She continued on after the crash for a quarter of a mile with one of her wheels sheared off in the crash,” Garcia said.

Names of the victim and suspect have not been released.

Part of the road was closed during the early part of rush hour.

KTAR’s Jim Cross contributed to this report.
