Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row has announced plans to open its first restaurant outside of Arizona. The country singer will be opening a site in Nashville early next year. Bentley has two restaurants in Arizona — one in Tempe and another in Scottsdale. A third is set for Gilbert.

• An East Valley pizzeria is set to open a new location. The Phoenix Business Journal reported Eklectic Pie will cut the ribbon on a restaurant near Gilbert and East Germann roads in Chandler early next month. The Mesa pie place has only been open for a few months.

• The West Valley Arts Council is accepting submissions for a floral and botanical show at its gallery. Deadline for submission is Jan. 28. The fifth annual exhibit will be on display from Feb. 18 to March 24 in Surprise.
