Phoenix, Kansas City and Indianapolis are all ranked 44 for density of millennials in the population.

Based on U.S. Census data compiled by Headlight Data, the three cities have 14.1 percent of millennials in the area, Phoenix Business Journal reports. However, the Valley could have earned a higher score.

Maricopa County would rank in the top 10 on millennials as a percent of population but was dragged down in ranking. This is because Pinal County is included in the total, bringing an older population. Tucson is among the lowest density of millennials ranking 91 of 100 largest metro cities.

Data found that millennials’ share of the U.S. population remained constant from 2009 to 2014.

The top five metro cities with millennial populations are Austin, Salt Lake City, San Diego, Seattle and Denver.
