The most popular story by month in 2015 on KTAR.com

Dec 29, 2015, 6:17 AM | Updated: 1:20 pm

While a list of the most popular stories on KTAR.com is indicative of the whole year, it’s a lot more interesting when it’s broken down into a month-by-month report, which, coincidentally, is what we’ve done below.

In the beginning of 2015, our site was dominated by the ongoing Jodi Arias trial and all of the related analysis and zaniness that surrounded the case since the day she first entered a courtroom. Of course, the Superbowl being held in Arizona was also popular.

As the year went on, the fallout from Jodi Arias continued to garner clicks, but other stories about spring training and some new food arrivals (Lou Malnati’s, anyone?) were also quite popular with readers.

As 2015 came to a close, most of you were reading about a shooter or shooters on Interstate 10 in the Phoenix area, an uptick in storms and the shooting on the Northern Arizona State University campus.

Click through the gallery below to see each month’s most-read story. If you click on the link below each photo, you can see that month’s breakdown of popular stories.

Thanks for reading KTAR.com and we look forward to bring you more news that matters to you in 2016!

We want to hear from you.
