If you ever thought you traveled in luxury before, think again: This YouTube video from user The Points Guy shows the true meaning of the word luxurious and takes it 40,000 feet in the sky.
If you ever thought you traveled in luxury before, think again: This YouTube video from user The Points Guy shows the true meaning of the word luxurious and takes it 40,000 feet in the sky.
The Points Guy, otherwise known as Brian Kelly, took viewers on a flight on Etihad Airways’ newest aircraft, the A380. The Abu Dhabi-based airline sends more than 1,000 flights a week to destinations worldwide, but it only operates five A380s, each carrying about 500 passengers.
But Kelly didn’t just bring viewers on a typical flight on the A380 — he flew on the aircraft’s only three-room suite called The Residence.
With a personal concierge service, on-board butler and in-flight chef, The Residence takes the concept of luxury and hypes it up a notch.
(Or a couple notches, but who’s counting?)
That’s not all: The Residence’s three rooms include a living room, complete with a flat-screen television and couch, a full-sized bathroom and a bedroom with room for two.
Luxury doesn’t come cheap: The Residence costs approximately $32,000 one way.
No worries, if you can’t afford the Kardashian-esque experience that The Residence has to offer, you can settle for one of the A380’s nine Apartment suites for a mere $20,000.
