“Phoenix is one of the top five areas that we ship pizza to across the country with our e-commerce site,” owner Marc Malnati said in November. We send thousands of pizzas to the Scottsdale-Phoenix area every year.”
The beloved Chicago chain told KTAR News’ Paige Dimakos in July 2015 it was coming to Phoenix and the Valley collectively rejoiced.
Just read that Lou Malnati's is opening in Phoenix next month, sooner than I expected. #blessed #soblessed

I'm joyed to know I live in Phoenix, Arizona, and my new house is just a 5 minute walk to Lou Malnati's.

At the time, company officials said they envision as many as 10 Valley locations.
Lou Malnati’s expected to hire about 100 staffers and is holding job fairs on April 16 and 19 to find perspective employees.

Chicagoans have already seen the growth of Windy City-based classics here in the Valley, with the opening of not one, but two Portillo’s locations, so it was only a matter of time before the pizza great decided to expand as well.
