PHOENIX — Arizona Republican Congressman Paul Gosar is supporting Wisconsin Congressman Paul Ryan’s plan to chop $4.6 trillion from the nation’s deficit, in part by repealing the president’s health care law.
“Obamacare will cost us $6 trillion in the next 10 years. It’s totally unaffordable and we have to do something different,” Gosar said.
Ryan’s plan also calls for revamping the Medicare system and creating just two tax brackets for individuals, 10 percent and 25 percent.
Gosar said that the former vice-presidential candidate’s plan would help states like Arizona.
“We have got to get back to growing businesses. Arizona is perfectly poised for that. The federal government just needs to get out of the way,” Gosar said.
