Police searching for convicted man who attacked bondsman

Jul 25, 2012, 3:53 PM | Updated: 4:07 pm

Phoenix Police are searching for a suspect convicted of
fraud who they say has been attacking bail bondsman with
his vehicle.

57-year-old Thomas Morgan is accused of purposely running
his truck
into a bail bondsman’s SUV on July 24, 2012 after the
bondsman attempted to confront Morgan in a parking lot.
The bondsman then opened fire on Morgan in fear for his
life. Morgan then fled, and a search of the area came up
empty.

The bail bondsman who fired shots has not been charged at
this time.

Morgan reportedly attempted to run his car into another
bail bondsman’s vehicle on July 6, 2012. Police say Morgan
is indicating with his actions that he does not want to be
arrested, and should be considered dangerous.

Morgan has been convicted of fraud against vulnerable
adults in which he pretended to be an attorney offering
help to victims. Morgan convinced the victims to pay him
for services, which he did not actually complete.

Anyone with information is asked to call Silent Witness at
