A 54-year-old man is facing first-degree murder, aggravated assault and tampering with evidence charges after 61-year-old Kiersten Fabiani was found with severe injuries under a car earlier this month before dying Sunday, authorities said.
The Phoenix Police Department identified the man taken into custody as Anthony Keith Errigo Jr. They said he was arrested Monday near 27th Avenue and McDowell Road.
Fabiani had been hospitalized since Oct. 8, when police responded at 11:15 a.m. to a call about an injured person near 40th Street and Greenway Road.
She was found with injuries consistent with an assault under a vehicle in the backyard of a home. Fabiani was unable to provide a statement because of her injuries.
Errigo Jr.’s bond was set $1,000,300.
