Halloween may be more than a month away, but metro Phoenix bars are already lighting candles, carving jack-o’-lanterns and serving up scares despite the lingering heat.

Looking for Halloween pop-up bars and spooky cocktail experiences in Phoenix, Scottsdale and beyond?

With Halloween on the horizon, it’s time to start planning a night of seasonal scares and spirits. This guide rounds up Halloween-themed pop-ups, lounges and speakeasies in the Valley, including upcoming experiences.

Your guide to Halloween pop-up bars in metro Phoenix

Whether you’re craving a psycho killer’s playground, a haunted forest or a jack-o’-lantern-filled speakeasy, these Halloween pop-ups offer a mix of seasonal spooks and boozy fun. The playful celebrations run through Nov. 1.

  • 50 Shades of Rosé in Scottsdale is now home to evil clowns, dolls and creepy decor. The Carnevil pop-up introduces new drinks and a $25 pumpkin paint-and-sip each Tuesday until Halloween.
  • The Pemberton in Phoenix is home to 10 themed bars, each with different Halloween decor — from a Mystery Machine and Scooby-Doo cutout to fake spider webs, bat stickers, blood splatters, a disembodied hand and electronic decorations.
  • Sunny’s Lounge in Phoenix has a ’90s psycho-killer makeover with themed dance parties, horror-movie nostalgia and cocktails — including one served in a take-home ghost mug for $69.
  • Porter’s Western Saloon in Scottsdale is now the Haunted Saloon. You’ll find skeletons hanging from the ceiling, a drink poured from a fake blood bag, several other spooky drinks and various photo opportunities.
  • Undertow Arcadia and Undertow Gilbert are hosting the Black Lagoon Halloween-themed cocktail pop-up, which features cocktails with flavors like pumpkin, pear and baking spice, along with tropical drinks. Black Lagoon takes place every October at bars across North America, with 34 locations participating this year.
  • The Hot Chick in Scottsdale is hosting Spooky Island, a Scooby-Doo-themed pop-up featuring a Mystery Van-themed bar, tall stacked sandwiches and tropical-themed decor and accessories.
  • 36 Below in Phoenix is hosting its Haunted Hollow pop-up, featuring forest-inspired Halloween drinks and dishes, with dark woods-themed decor. Scroll through the gallery below to see what the pop-up looks like:

Phoenix Halloween Bar Crawl 2026

This bar crawl will take place Saturday, Oct. 31, from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. Check-ins are from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Crown Public House in Phoenix.

The 21-and-older event includes stops at more than four venues, free entry into participating bars, a digital pub crawl map, themed drinks, live DJs at select locations, an after-party, on-site staff and photo opportunities.

Tickets start at $10.20 on Eventbrite, and organizers say all sales are final.

The Fright Crawl in Tempe: Oct. 29, 30 and 31

Tickets for Tempe’s Fright Crawl start at $15, with a $65 weekend pass available for Oct. 29-31.

The Halloween bar crawl includes one wristband, no cover at four or more participating Tempe bars, drink specials and a live crawl map showing the night’s stops.
