Amkor nearly doubles investment in Peoria advanced packaging facility to $12B

Amkor’s second phase of the project calls for an additional 645,800 square feet of space, increasing the company’s total clean room capacity to more than 1 million square feet on its 170-acre campus. Construction on phase two is expected to begin in late 2027 with completion slated for the end of 2029, according to the company.
