World of Illumination bringing new Zombie Zoo drive-thru light show to Tempe

A brand-new drive-thru light show is coming to Tempe for the Halloween season this month.

Zombie Zoo, an after-dark light show created by World of Illumination, will debut at Tempe Diablo Stadium on Sept. 30 and will run through Nov. 1. The new family-friendly light show, led by mascot Tumba the Gorilla, allows guests to drive through glowing habitats, a jack-o’-lantern vortex tunnel and a dancing graveyard. During Zombie Zoo, guests will be able to hear Halloween music from their cars. 

The show will run daily from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Presale tickets are now on sale, and guests can save up to 30% through Sept. 13. One ticket covers a whole car, with general admission tickets ranging from $27.99 to $34.99.

World of Illumination is the creator behind the Reindeer Road Christmas light show at Tempe Diablo Stadium, which will run from Nov. 3 to Jan. 3, 2027.
