A child is dead after a golf cart rolled over at a home near Anthem on Saturday night, authorities said.
The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office said the crash happened at a residence near New River and Saddle Mountain roads around 11:04 p.m.
A family member was driving the cart while three children were sitting on a bench seat within it when the rollover occurred.
One of the children died from their injuries.
It is not clear what led to the crash.
