Slow ride: Viral video shows what really happens to checked luggage

While you’re standing in your terminal, sipping your coffee and reading your favorite gossip magazine, have you ever stopped and wondered: What in the world is happening to my luggage?

For those with visions in their head of their precious belongings being thrown around like yesterday’s trash, worry no longer. Thanks to a YouTube video by the geniuses at Thrillist, everyone’s mind can be put at ease.

They strapped a 360-degree GoPro contraption onto a luggage as it made its journey from check-in to take-off and the ride wasn’t as bad as you might think. Actually, it looked a little fun!

So, next time you’re waiting for your flight to take off, just remember that your luggage probably had a better time getting to the plane than you did.
