Harry & Izzy’s steakhouse announces opening state for Arizona debut

A legendary staple of the Midwest dining scene is officially making its way to the Valley.

Harry & Izzy’s, a modern American grill rooted in Indianapolis, will open its doors at the reimagined Paradise Valley mall development on Wednesday, Aug. 26.

The 8,300-square-foot restaurant marks the brand’s very first location outside of Indiana.

Located at 12770 N. Tatum Blvd., the sprawling new space features seating for 340 guests, a 2,400-square-foot patio and an outdoor bar designed to fit the Arizona climate.

“Opening Harry & Izzy’s in the Valley marks an exciting new chapter for our team and our family of restaurants,” Craig Huse, CEO of Huse Culinary, said in a statement. “We’ve built our brands around exceptional food, genuine hospitality and creating memorable experiences, and we’re honored to bring that tradition to Paradise Valley.”

Diners can expect an elevated take on classic steakhouse fare, highlighted by premium steaks, fresh seafood, shareable appetizers, handcrafted cocktails and the famous St. Elmo Shrimp Cocktail.

The restaurant’s name pays homage to lifelong friends Harry Roth and Izzy Rosen, who ran the iconic St. Elmo Steak House for nearly four decades. Huse Culinary later expanded the companion concept in Indianapolis, drawing deep local ties that eventually brought Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning into the brand’s ownership group.

Manning is also joining the Paradise Valley venture as a partner.

Harry & Izzy’s will be open daily for lunch and dinner, alongside weekend brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. Happy hour runs daily from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
