Man left in critical condition after 3-car collision in north Phoenix

Two people were hospitalized Friday afternoon following a three-vehicle crash in north Phoenix, including a man who was in critical condition, authorities said.

Fire crews were called to an intersection near 51st Avenue and Cactus Road around 4 p.m. for the collision, according to the Phoenix Fire Department.

A woman involved in the crash was transported in stable condition.

The scene has since been turned over to Phoenix Police so officers can investigate the incident.
