Developer announces completion of Nexus Commerce Center industrial park in Tempe

Creation, an Arizona real estate development firm, announced Tuesday that construction of the Nexus Commerce Center industrial park in Tempe has been completed.

The project, which consists of three buildings and is 273,000 square feet, was developed in partnership with CrossHarbor Capital Partners and Amherst. Additionally, it was designed and built by LGE Design Build.

It is located on a 16-acre site near Hardy Drive and Elliot Road and includes 200,000 square feet of converted vacant office space.

“Nexus Commerce Center delivers modern, high-efficiency industrial space in one of the most strategically located submarkets in the Phoenix metro,” Grant Kingdon, principal of the Mountain West region for Creation, said in a news release. “Reimagining a site once home to underutilized office space into a site that now offers modern shallow-bay product that meets the demand of today’s tenant requirements is exactly the kind of creative approach that infill sites like this require.”

The three buildings range in size from 88,773 to 103,288 square feet. They feature 32-foot clear heights allowing them serve companies looking to do light manufacturing, assembly, research and development, logistics and fulfillment.

Nexus Commerce Center offers direct access to Interstate 10 and Loop 101 Price Freeway. It is also in close proximity to the US 60 interchange and Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.

“Seeing Nexus Commerce Center through to completion reflects the goal we set from the start: a facility that is highly functional and visually distinct, with clean lines that reflect today’s industrial aesthetic while integrating into the surrounding community,” Michael Stafford, president of LGE Design Build, said.
