Center Court Pickleball Club expands Valley footprint with 2nd Scottsdale venue, 4th overall

Center Court Pickleball Club is continuing its rapid Phoenix-area expansion with the opening of a new 35,000-square-foot facility near Shea Boulevard and Loop 101 in Scottsdale.

The venue at 10220 N. 90th St., which opened July 10, marks the locally owned company’s fourth location in the Valley. It features 13 tournament-quality indoor courts, a dedicated training center and Center Court’s new corporate headquarters.

With the latest opening, Center Court now operates 51 indoor courts across the Phoenix metro area.

Over the last seven months, the company renovated the former Scottsdale Fiesta Retail Center into a climate-controlled facility equipped with sound absorption technology, glare-minimizing lighting and fully equipped locker rooms. The site also incorporates a Power Plate performance and recovery program included with membership to assist with warm-ups and injury prevention.

“This club represents much more than another building or another 13 courts,” Tim Keightley, CEO of Center Court Pickleball Club, said in a news release. “It represents people who believed in what we were building, members who committed before we opened our doors and a community that continues to grow together.”

The company’s three other Valley locations sit at Scottsdale Road and Mayo Boulevard in North Scottsdale, 59th Avenue and Bell Road in Glendale and Williams Field Road and Val Vista Drive in Gilbert.

As a partner of USA Pickleball and a member of the Arizona Pickleball Players League, Center Court hosts Golden Ticket tournaments that offer local players a pathway to qualify for the USA Pickleball National Championships. The facilities also provide coaching, leagues, beginner clinics and open play options

The new location opened with a limited number of Founding Memberships across Gold, Platinum, Diamond and Couples tiers.

“Every decision inside this club was made with our member experience in mind,” Ryan Trefry, Vice President of Operations and Club Support, said in the release. “From the lighting and acoustics to our coaching, programming and recovery spaces, every detail was designed to help players enjoy the game at their best.”
