Injury collision on I-10 in West Valley disrupts morning rush hour traffic

Traffic on westbound Interstate 10 in the West Valley was disrupted by an injury collision during rush hour Wednesday morning, authorities said.

The HOV and left lanes were blocked after the collision near Avondale Boulevard, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

The restrictions created significant delays on I-10 in the 8 o’clock hour.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety said the crash resulted in unknown injuries.
