Texas shooting leaves 1 dead and 9 injured as police are in a standoff with a suspect

MIDLAND, Texas (AP) — A shooting Friday in Midland, Texas, left one person dead and nine others in the hospital, Mayor Lori Blong said.

The possible suspect in the shooting was in a standoff with officers, police said.
