One teenager died and another was hospitalized after a shooting at Desert Sky Mall in west Phoenix on Tuesday night.

One teenager died and another was hospitalized after a shooting at Desert Sky Mall in west Phoenix on Tuesday night, authorities said.
The suspect remains at large, the Phoenix Police Department said Wednesday.
Officers responded to the mall at 75th Avenue and Thomas Road about 8:20 p.m. and found two gunshot victims, including a 17-year-old boy with serious injuries.
Both patients were taken to a hospital, where the 17-year-old later died. The other victim, a 16-year-old boy, sustained injuries that aren’t considered life-threatening.
Desert Sky Mall evacuated after shooting
Stores were closed or locked down during the police response, and the area was evacuated.
Officers questioned multiple people as they cleared the scene but did not find a suspect.
