Have you ever wanted to escape the Valley heat for some golf but travel times have made it feel like too tall a task?
Pine Canyon, a luxury golf community in the high-country city, is partnering with private aviation service PrismJet to slash travel times from roughly 2.5 hours by car to just 30 minutes by air, with flights from Scottsdale Airport, which is fittingly located near TPC Scottsdale.
The service is meant to mirror ridesharing apps, with trips bookable in the Pine Canyon app with as short of notice as 48 hours.
It comes as the golf community’s response to an “increasing demand among affluent individuals for privacy and efficiency,” according to a press release.
“This offering is centered around what our members value most: their time,” Pine Canyon Developer Todd Severson said. “By introducing private aviation, we’re making it easier to get here and spend more time enjoying everything Pine Canyon has to offer.
“Our partnership with PrismJet reflects a deeper promise to provide access and experiences that simply don’t exist anywhere else.”
Customers will fly on private jets ranging from a King Air 350i to a Global 5000. Charter flights from Flagstaff to Las Vegas and Southern California are also available.
“We are thrilled to partner with Pine Canyon to provide exceptional charter services for their members. This partnership allows Pine Canyon’s members to fully experience the unique advantages of private aviation, whether they are flying to and from Flagstaff or beyond,” PrismJet Vice President Scott Casey said.
The addition comes as the course spanning more than 600 acres recently spent $6.4 million to renovate the 19-hole course, its biggest renovation to date.
