Arizona health department launches data-rich Community Profiles tool

PHOENIX — The Arizona Department of Health Services announced it has launched a new tool that provides public health information in one place for Arizona residents.

Community Profiles provides real-time health data to 136 communities across Arizona, according to a Monday news release.

Data accessible through Community Profiles includes demographics, health outcomes, healthcare access, workforce availability, facilities and environmental conditions. The new tool is accessible through the Public Health Data Portal, which was launched in 2025.

“Community Profiles bring interactive data and maps together on a single website,” Geographic Information System manager at ADHS Nicole Eiden said. “By bringing hundreds of indicators into one place, it helps people quickly see what is happening in a community, where gaps exist and where action can make the greatest impact.”

Additional features on Community Profiles include guided tours, printable views, metadata and data downloads.
