Eastbound I-10 reopens in West Valley after fatal crash during rush hour
A fatal crash disrupted rush hour traffic on Interstate 10 in the West Valley on Tuesday morning.

PHOENIX – A fatal crash disrupted rush hour traffic on Interstate 10 in the West Valley on Tuesday morning.
Eastbound I-10 was closed in Buckeye just before 7:30 a.m., according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
The freeway reopened before 9 a.m.
Where was I-10 closed after crash?
During the closure, traffic was forced to take the Verrado Way off-ramp but could immediately reenter the freeway via the on-ramp, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
One person died in the collision, which occurred around 6:45 a.m., DPS said.
The westbound lanes were not affected.
