A man was hospitalized in critical condition after he was reportedly shot in Avondale on Sunday.

PHOENIX — A man was hospitalized in critical condition after he was reportedly shot in Avondale on Sunday.
Officers responded to a shooting near Avondale Boulevard and McDowell Road around 2:15 p.m, according to the Avondale Police Department.
Upon arrival, officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
No suspect information has been released, and detectives are in the process of gathering more information from individuals in the area.
