Wrong-way driver arrested after incident on Loop 303 in West Valley
A wrong-way driver was arrested after drifting into the wrong lanes of Loop 303 in the West Valley early Thursday, authorities said.

PHOENIX – A wrong-way driver was taken into custody in the West Valley early Thursday, authorities said.
A motorist reported seeing a southbound White Kia drift into the northbound lanes of Loop 303 near Glendale Avenue in Litchfield Park around 2 a.m., according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
The driver self-corrected on the Loop 303 and was located by authorities at an apartment complex off Estrella Parkway in Goodyear. The 24-year-old woman, who is suspected of impairment, was then arrested, DPS said.
No other details about the case were made available.
It was the second reported wrong-way driver in the West Valley this week. A Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office deputy collided with a driver going the wrong way on Loop 303 near Bell Road in Surprise early Monday, according to ABC15.
