PHOENIX — Authorities have canceled a SAFE Alert for a missing 40-year-old man last seen Monday night.
Valentino Trujillo was last seen near 12th Street and McDowell Road in Phoenix around 8 p.m. on Monday, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
This prompted a SAFE Alert, which was issued just before midnight on Tuesday evening. It was canceled around 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
The Department of Public Safety said Trujillo was located safe and in good health.
SAFE Alerts have replaced Silver Alerts in Arizona as a way to spread the word about missing persons who are 65 and older or who suffer from dementia or developmental/cognitive disabilities.
