¡Dale! Pitbull headlining Gilbert’s Party in the Park music festival

Singer-songwriter icon Pitbull will headline at Gilbert Regional Park on Nov. 8 for the Party in the Park event.

PHOENIX — Mr. Worldwide himself is set to light up the stage in Gilbert like a “Fireball” at the town’s Party in the Park music festival in November.

Singer-songwriter icon Pitbull will headline at Gilbert Regional Park on Nov. 8, according to the event’s website.

The park near Queen Creek and Higley roads will also be filled with music from other iconic artists like Shaggy, Ginuwine, Baby Bash and the Ying Yang twins.

What else can attendees expect from Party in the Park?

Event organizers said other performers will be added to the setlist.

The full-day celebration will include local food vendors and full-service bars in addition to nostalgic throwbacks and live music.

Presale for tickets start Aug. 21 at 10 a.m. Tickets for general admission start at $85, which includes fees. There are also VIP and Cabana tickets available. Tequila Tasting is $30.50 including fees.

The party is organized by Activated Events, the same producers of Boots in the Park and the Smoke Show.

“We’re beyond excited to bring Party in the Park to life in Gilbert,” Activated Events CEO Steve Thacher said in a Monday announcement.

“Arizona has embraced Boots in the Park and The Smoke Show, and we knew it was time to bring something fresh, fun and full of energy. Pitbull is the perfect artist to kick things off. Arizona is in for a party it won’t forget!”
