15-year-old girl arrested after brawl in Gilbert parking lot

A 15-year-old girl was arrested in connection with a parking lot fight in Gilbert over the weekend.

PHOENIX – A teenage girl was arrested in connection with a parking lot fight in Gilbert over the weekend, authorities said.

The brawl, which involved a group of teenage girls, broke out around 11:30 p.m. Saturday near Williams Field Road and Market Street, according to the Gilbert Police Department.

Investigators interviewed witnesses and examined video evidence before arresting a 15-year-old girl.

What charges does teen face for Gilbert parking lot fight?

The suspect was booked for assault, disorderly conduct and curfew violation.

Under Gilbert municipal code, children younger than 16 who aren’t accompanied by a parent or guardian must be home by 10 p.m. The East Valley town’s curfew for unaccompanied 16- and 17-year-old minors is midnight.

The investigation into the Gilbert parking lot fight is ongoing.
