Taco lovers unite! Taco Fest returns this fall to Salt River Fields in Scottsdale
Arizonans who love all things tacos have something to look forward to this fall as Taco Fest returns to Salt River Fields in Scottsdale.

PHOENIX — Arizonans who love all things tacos have something to look forward to this fall as Taco Fest returns to Salt River Fields in Scottsdale.
The event will take over the sports venue, located at 7555 N. Pima Road, on Saturday, Oct. 18 and Sunday, Oct. 19.
It will run from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
What is Taco Fest cooking up for attendees this year?
Taco Fest will have more than 40 taco makers for Arizonans to choose from, including Chula Seafood, Sol Mexican Cocina, Loco Patron, Taco Bros and Tacos Mesquite.
There will also be other food vendors, such as Berrie Kabobs, Aloha Yogurt, Dippin’ Dots, Kona Ice and Marina’s Fresh Fruit Shave Ice.
In addition to the food options, the event will have 30 brands of tequila and mezcal, margaritas and beer.
There will also be multiple music stages, dancing, art activations, shopping and more.
Those who want a premium Taco Fest experience can purchase tickets for the VIP Agave Show, which is where over 30 spirit brands will offer sips, cocktails and flights. The area is 21+ only and pricing starts at $60 while supplies last.
The show runs from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday. VIP ticket holders will have access to comfortable lounge seating, extra shade, private bars and upgraded restroom facilities with AC.
Presale admission tickets are currently on sale and start at $9 while supplies last. Tickets for the event can only be purchased online and are non-refundable.
Admission for kids 12 and under is free. Parking is also free.
It is important to note that tickets cannot be switched from one day to another.
Taco Fest advertised that the event will happen rain or shine.

I once had lunch with co-workers at a (then) new restaurant in Scottsdale called "The Pink Taco".
There was talk back then of them sponsoring the big, (then) new Phoenix Cardinals Stadium, but the deal fell through..
One of the first concerts to be held at the stadium was the Rolling Stones, and I sure would have bought one of those "Rolling Stones at the Pink Taco Stadium" T-shirts !
