Loop 202 Santan Freeway’s Dobson Road on-ramp to close for 60 days in Chandler

PHOENIX — The ramp from Dobson Road onto eastbound Loop 202 Santan Freeway will close for 60 days beginning on Monday, the Arizona Department of Transportation announced.

The closure is part of ADOT’s Loop 202 widening project, which began nearly one year ago and spans an 8-mile stretch of the Loop 202 between the Loop 101 Price Freeway in Chandler and Val Vista Drive in Gilbert.

Drivers impacted should enter the freeway from Price or Alma School roads, ADOT advised.

While the ramp is closed, crews will rebuild it fit for the project before it’s scheduled to reopen in late August.
