PHOENIX — The largest Chevrolet dealership in Arizona is now under new ownership.
Ken Garff Automotive Group announced Tuesday that it purchased Gateway Chevrolet, which is located in Avondale off Interstate 10 at 99th Avenue.

The dealership will be renamed Ken Garff Gateway Chevrolet.
The group also owns Ken Garff KIA Avondale, Ken Garff KIA Bell Road, Ken Garff Hyundai Surprise and Ken Garff Volkswagen Gilbert.
The new owners plan to keep the current team while improving operations for a smooth transition.
“We’re honored to welcome Gateway Chevrolet to our growing Arizona footprint,” Ken Garff Automotive Group CEO Brett Hopkins said in a statement.
This dealership has been a staple in metro Phoenix, he added.
“We’re committed to continuing that legacy with the same outstanding service and community involvement customers have come to expect,” Hopkins said. “Arizona is a core market for us, and this acquisition strengthens our ability to serve drivers throughout the Phoenix area.”
