Victim’s motorcycle stolen from I-10 ramp in Phoenix after fatal crash

PHOENIX – A fatal crash victim’s motorcycle was stolen from a Phoenix freeway ramp earlier this month, and her family wants it back.

The motorcyclist fell 80 feet to her death after hitting the median wall on the eastbound Interstate 10 transition ramp to southbound I-17 the evening of June 8, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

The motorcycle didn’t go over the wall, but it was stolen before law enforcement arrived at the scene, DPS said. The cause of the crash is undetermined.

The victim has been identified by her family as 19-year-old Annabel Force.

Her wife, Sakura Keiser, told ABC15 that Force owned the 2022 black Yamaha YZF-R7 for a few weeks before the crash.

“Just return it, please. I understand that it looked like it was a freebie on the side of the road, but that’s my wife’s bike. I’d like to have it back. I need to see what happened. I need to know what caused the accident,” Keiser told the TV station.

A GoFundMe campaign was started to raise funds for a memorial service and to support Force’s family.
