State Route 87 has reopened after it was closed Sunday night near Fort McDowell due to a fire caused by an earlier crash.

PHOENIX — Northbound State Route 87 has reopened after it was closed Sunday night near Fort McDowell due to a fire caused by an earlier crash.

The closure was between mileposts 204-208 near Sycamore Creek, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

The southbound lanes were unaffected.

No other details were made available.
